The Bank has an extraordinary reputation for supporting educational projects and services throughout the Bay area. With its investment in SPC faculty and staff, The Bank of Tampa is promoting student engagement that leads to higher academic achievement.

Duke Energy
As a long-time partner of the SPC Foundation, Duke Energy is a champion of education and workforce development in Pinellas County. In January 2016, Duke provided $30,000 to underwrite scholarships for First Generation students attending SPC’s Midtown and Downtown campuses. Demonstrating its commitment to veterans, last year Duke also awarded $7,500 to the Foundation’s Veterans Bridge Fund Initiative that provides essential financial assistance to veteran students at SPC. Duke has been a prominent sponsor of the Foundation’s Distinguished Speaker Series and is active with numerous other programs at the College.
